This Webcam shows the view from the roof of the Town Hall (50 ° 31'11 .93''N-10 ° 58'10 .08''O, 775m NN) in the direction of the upper reservoir pumped from the power plant Goldisthal (top left of the image). This structure is one of the largest pumped storage power plants in Europe and is used for energy storage and production. The right of the picture is slightly above even the Rennsteigwarte, our lookout tower, to find.

Diese Webcam zeigt die Aussicht vom Dach des Rathauses (50°31'11.93'' N - 10°58'10.08'' O, 775m NN) in Richtung des Oberbecken vom Pumpspeicher- Kraftwerk Goldisthal (links oben im Bild). Dieses Bauwerk ist eines der größten Pumpspeicher- Kraftwerke Europas und wird zur Energiespeicherung und -erzeugung genutzt. Rechts im Bild ist etwas oberhalb sogar die Rennsteigwarte, unser Aussichtsturm, zu finden.
