Hamburg Altona 7m, the Free Hanseatic City Hamburg, in Low German dialect called Hamborg, lies in the north part of Germany and is as a city state 1 of the 16 German states on its own. Besides Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany and lies at the mouth of the rivers Alster and Bille into the Elbe river, which flows 110 km further into the North Sea.
